B2B POS Pricer — Last updated: April 10, 2026
B2B POS Pricer ("the App") is a Shopify app that applies B2B catalog pricing to point-of-sale (POS) cart line items based on the customer's company association. This policy explains what data we access, why, and how we handle it.
The App accesses the following data through the Shopify Admin API:
We do not persist your end customers' (shoppers') names, email addresses, phone numbers, or billing/shipping addresses. Those values are not saved in our database; we only process the minimum identifiers needed for pricing during each request.
Shopify staff / merchant accounts. When a merchant installs or uses the embedded app, Shopify may supply OAuth session metadata (for example account identifiers or contact fields associated with the staff or owner account) as part of the standard Shopify app session. That metadata is stored only to maintain a secure session and call the Admin API on behalf of the store — the same pattern as other embedded Shopify apps.
Data is used exclusively to provide the App's core functionality: resolving B2B catalog prices in real time during a POS session. We do not use data for analytics, advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond pricing computation.
The App stores the Shopify session (including offline access tokens and any staff-related fields Shopify includes in that session record) required to call the Admin API on behalf of the merchant. Sessions are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway; traffic uses TLS. End-customer data used for B2B pricing is not written to a long-term customer database — it is requested when needed and not kept as a customer profile in our systems.
Optional per-store settings you configure in the App (such as a short staff message on the POS tile) and billing or usage summaries tied to the shop may also be stored. Session data and these store-level records are removed when the merchant uninstalls the App (via the app/uninstalled webhook), subject to Shopify's delivery of that event.
We do not sell, rent, or share any merchant or customer data with third parties. The only external service used is Shopify's own Admin API.
The App is intended for normal in-store POS operations aligned with your subscription and Shopify's terms. You agree not to misuse the App—for example by attempting to resell access to our APIs, running abusive or non-production load against our services without prior agreement, or using the App in a way that is unrelated to legitimate B2B catalog pricing at the register.
We may collect aggregated usage information per store (such as counts of API requests over time) to operate, secure, and bill the service proportionally. If usage is exceptionally high compared to typical retail volume, we may contact you to align your plan or usage with fair commercial terms. This does not change how we treat personal data as described in sections 2–4 above.
By installing the App, merchants agree to this Privacy Policy and to Shopify's own Privacy Policy. Merchants are responsible for ensuring their use of the App complies with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) in their jurisdiction.
Merchants may request deletion of all stored session data by uninstalling the App from their Shopify Admin. For any other data requests, contact us at the address below.
